ASATU National President Hails Soludo’s Inclusive Governance Approach

The National President of Anambra State Association of Town Unions, Barrister Titus Akpudo says Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s infrastructural development has continued to place the state on the limelight and needs strong support for him to succeed in makingĀ  Anambra an investors’ hub, a livable and a prosperous homeland.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Akpudo stated this at ASATU Hall, Government House Awka during the inauguration of Elders Council of the Association of Non Indigenes in Anambra State.

The members of the associationĀ  are people from different parts of the country and ethnic groups who are resident in the state.Ā 

They identified with ASATU and recognized the National President as their National Patron and some of their elders whom they entrusted some of the group’s responsibilities on.Ā 

According to them, the Elders Council will help as guides for the executive and members of the association as a way to addressing some of the challenges facing them especially with the narrative in some quarters that insecurity is perpetuated by non-indigenes.Ā 

Akpudo commended the association for taking a bold step by identifing with the government who has given a level playing ground to live and thrive in their endeavors accounting that non indigenes in the state represents over 1.2 million of the state population asking them to keep championing the solution policies and agenda.

The National President disclosed that the non-indigene association has been issued certificate to operate as an affiliate group of ASATU and urged them to champion peace, togetherness and development of Anambra State.Ā 

He urged them to be security conscious and participate in efforts to ensure a more secured state which is a paramount to the Soludo adminstration, highlighting the administrations effort to provide a level playing ground for every one.
