Barcelona Thrash Lyon 4-0 to Win UEFA Women’s Champions League Title

Barcelona Femení produced a dominant display to thrash OL Lyonnes 4-0 and claim the UEFA Women’s Champions League title at Ullevaal Stadion.

Ewa Pajor opened the scoring and added a second goal, while Salma Paralluelo struck twice in the closing stages to complete the rout and secure Barcelona’s fourth European crown.

The victory also completed a historic quadruple for the Spanish side, who had already swept all domestic honours this season. It marks their second win against Lyon in a UWCL final, following their 2-0 triumph in 2024.

Pajor was named player of the match after finishing the competition with 10 goals. Barcelona controlled the game with over 60 percent possession, led by midfielders Alexia Putellas and Aitana Bonmatí.

Lyonnes, coached by former Barcelona boss Jonatan Giraldez, struggled to contain the relentless pressure despite their record of eight previous titles in the competition.

The result confirms Barcelona as the standout team in European women’s football this season, having gone unbeaten in the tournament.
