Bayelsa State Governor Senator Douye Diri has charged Security agencies operating in Delta and Bayelsa states, to ensure that those behind the killing of soldiers in the Delta community of Okuama are arrested and brought to face justice.
Senator Douye Diri gave the charge during a security council meeting at the government house in Yenagoa.
The State Governor said his administration will continue to support the military and other security agencies in discharging their professional duties.
Governor Douye Diri also expressed regret over the sad incident which led to the raid in the Bayelsa community of Igbomotoru in Southern Ijaw Local Government Council and appealed to the military to allow relief materials for community members trapped in the forest.
