Bayern Insist Olise is ‘Absolutely Untouchable’ Amid Transfer Speculation

Bayern Munich has ruled out any possibility of selling winger Michael Olise, with sporting director Max Eberl declaring the 23-year-old French international “absolutely untouchable” amid growing interest from rival clubs.

Eberl made the firm declaration on Saturday while speaking to German broadcaster ZDF, aiming to shut down speculation about the player’s future just months after his arrival at the Allianz Arena.

“Michael Olise is absolutely untouchable,” Eberl stated bluntly. He added: “No chance, we didn’t think about it not even for a second.”

Olise joined Bayern from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2025 and has rapidly established himself as one of the team’s most dangerous creative forces. His technical ability, vision and consistent end product have made him a key part of the Bavarians’ attacking setup.

Bayern views the former England youth international as a central pillar for their long-term squad planning and a player around whom future attacking structures can be built. The club’s stance reflects a broader strategy under Eberl to prioritise stability and retain core talent rather than entertain frequent transfer speculation.

The strong message is expected to deter potential suitors from Europe’s elite clubs who may have been monitoring Olise’s situation, especially given his impressive performances in the Bundesliga and Champions League this season.
