BBC’s Wolves vs. Liverpool live coverage interrupted by “porn noises”

Strangely, the BBC’s live broadcast of Wolves vs. Liverpool was cut short by loud “porn noises.”

The sound effects kept interrupting Gary Lineker as he tried to talk to Alan Shearer, Paul Ince, and Danny Murphy about pre-match concerns as he introduced the FA Cup third round replay at Molineux.

Lineker identified the offender after nearly 15 extremely humiliating minutes by tweeting a picture of what looked to be a little mobile phone hidden in the studio.

As Lineker started talking to Shearer, who was positioned on the gantry for his commentary responsibilities and appeared to be unaware of the disturbance, the obscene grunts started to come out.

Lineker said, “I don’t know who is making that noise,” as the former England internationals continued to talk about the game.

Shortly following kick-off, the floodlights at Molineux briefly cut out with Shearer commenting during the match: ‘It’s all going off tonight, floodlights going off and Danny Murphy’s phone going off in the studio. What else can happen?’
