Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, Davido, celebrates a major milestone as his album “Timeless” secures a spot on Billboard’s prestigious “Top 50 Best Albums of 2023.
Since it’s release in March 2023, “Timeless” gathered three nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards our of many other streaming records.
Davido’s latest album earned recognition in categories such as Best Global Album, Best African Performance for the track “Unavailable,” and Best Global Music Performance for the song “Feel.”
In reaction to the milestone, Billboard’s Dan Rys commended Davido’s musical prowess, stating, “Before all the accolades — the Grammy nominations, the Headies Awards, the festival slots, and the international tours — there was the music, and what Davido achieves on Timeless truly lives up to his acclaim.” Rys praised the album’s diverse offerings, ranging from joyous love songs to high-energy dance hits.
