Bishop Obi Withdraws Ordination License Of Nnewi Anglican Priest

The Anglican Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, Rt. Rev. Chukwuka Ndubuisi Obi, has withdrawn the ordination license of Rev. Agoziem Isreal Okafor.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Rev. Okafor, resigned as a priest of the Diocese due to irreconcilable differences with the Diocese.

Bishop Obi who announced that the Priest has been dismissed, warned members of the church who might want to do business with Rev. Okafor to be aware that he is no longer accountable to the Diocese and the Anglican Church.

It is not yet clear why the priest resigned or what prompted his sudden transfer to Dame Irene Okwuosa Memorial Convent Orafite, however, we can confirm that Rev Agoziem Okafor has opened a Ministry, The Grace Family Ministry, and has rented a space at Umuezemeko Event Centre Ezekwuabor, Otolo Nnewi.

ANN gathered that Rev. Okafor who was in charge of Church of Pentecost, Obiuno Otolo Nnewi, but was transferred by the Bishop to Dame Irene Okwuosa Memorial Convent Orafite to become the Chaplin of the institution, submitted his letter of resignation shortly after he arrived at the new station.
