The Police in Lagos has confirmed the arrest of Balogun Eletu, aka Sam Larry, over the death of afrobeats musician, Ilerioluwa Aloba, professionally known as MohBad.
According to the Police, Sam Larry was arrested as part of ongoing investigations into the mysterious death of Mohbad.
The Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed Sam Larry’s arrest on Thursday night.
“Yes, Balogun Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody. He is currently assisting with the ongoing investigation,” Hundeyin told Punch.
The police had earlier invited Sam Larry and singer, Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley, for questioning over Mohbad’s passing.
The police, last week, also confirmed that pathologists had concluded the autopsy conducted on Mohbad, while they await the result.
