AC Milan coach Ruben Amorim has confirmed that winger Samuel Chukwueze will remain at the club after his loan spell at Fulham, praising the Nigerian’s ability in one-on-one situations.
Chukwueze has returned to Milan following the end of his temporary move to the English Premier League side. Amorim made clear his intentions for the player during comments on the squad.
“Chukwueze will stay with us. We need players who know how to play one-on-one, and he is capable of that,” Amorim said. “He can play on the right or the left.”
The Portuguese coach’s endorsement signals Chukwueze’s role in Milan’s plans for the upcoming season, with the versatile attacker expected to feature prominently in the team’s attacking setup.
