The All Progressives Congress (APC)
Anambra governorship aspirant Sir. Paul Chukwuma has officially resign from the party.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Chukwuma resigned on Saturday, less than 24 hours to the primary election of the APC.
Sir. Chukwuma, a former National Auditor of the APC, while speaking in his residence in Umueri, noted that this period of rest is necessary before he takes a final stand on his next political trajectory.
In his resignation letter addressed to his Ward Chairman, Umueri Ward 2, Anambra East, dated March 3, 2025, Chukwuma
also announced his withdrawal from the upcoming APC primary election, affirming that his support for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s administration and the Renewed Hope agenda remains steadfast.
“I write to formally notify you of my resignation as a card-carrying member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).”
“My decision reflects my quest to connect Anambra State to national politics by building a broader, more inclusive political movement within the state in support of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.
“While thanking you for your leadership over the years, be assured of my continued support for your shared progressive ideas as i will devote more time to pursuing the realization of a safe and prosperous Anambra state of our dreams. Kindly accept my highest regards.” he stated.
