January 5, 2023, Nigerian artist David Adeleke, better known by his stage as Davido, updated his Wikipedia entry after paying Chioma Rowland’s entire bride price in her hometown of Owerre, Nkworji Ezeala odu, Nkwerre LGA in Imo State.
ANN observed that Davido and Chioma married on their registration in November 2022, following the wake of their child, Ifeanyi’s death.
According to Nigerian Journalist, Stella Dimoko Korkus, the ‘Assurance’ crooner completed the traditional marriage rites of his fiance, Chioma Avril Rowland today.
Chioma’s father was captured in a white outfit was in the village during the festive period of 2022 and on January 3, 2023, where he settled the Umunna and Umuada.
The aforementioned source also noted that the rites were done to allow the Adeleke’s family to bury their son, Ifeanyi, because, in Chioma’s village, Davido cannot bury the child’s corpse until the mother’s bride price is paid in full.
Following the full payment of Chioma’s bride price, Davido has offically updated his Wikipedia proclaiming the ‘husband and spouse’ title to the celebrity chef.
