Anambra State House of Assembly Speaker Rt. Hon Somtochukwu Udeze has expressed satisfaction with the level of development which the present administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo has recorded in the state.
Rt. Hon. Udeze while speaking to news men on Soludo’s quarterly programme on Anambra Broadcasting Service tilted “Chat with Mr. Governor”, called on politicians in the state irrespective of their political party affiliations to see the development of the state as a collective responsibility by giving maximum support to Governor Soludo’s administration at all times
The Speaker noted that the programme was loaded with the numerous achievements of the Governor so far as well as ongoing projects, programmes and policies of the government.
Udeze revealed some tips of the programme to include Governor Soludo’s plans to lay gas pipelines to generate and boost power supply in the state, eradication of touts, replacement of diesel-powered streetlights to solar, construction of more roads, improved security architecture, exemption of artisans from tax payment, ongoing transformation in all sectors of the state economy, disbursement of funds to youths for one youth two skills programme as well as plans to maintain sanity on state roads among others.
He assured Governor Soludo that the State House of Assembly will continue to treat expeditiously Bills from the Executive, stressing that Governor Soludo’s development philosophy is in tandem with the legislative agenda of the state legislature.
