The indigenous Dunukofia United Brothers Association has conferred a special honour and prestigious recognition on the Mayor of Dunukofia Local Government Area, Barr. Chijioke Ozumba, in appreciation of his exemplary administrative leadership and outstanding commitment to sustainable community development.
The award was presented by a two-time member who represented Dunukofia Constituency in the 6th and 7th Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Lawrence Ezeudu, on behalf of the Association.

Dunukofia is privileged to have such a leader at this time in history.
Ezeudu expressed gratitude to God for the Mayor’s life, his family, and the people of Dunukofia, and highlighted that the award was presented as a sincere token of appreciation for the visible progress being recorded across the local government.
He further emphasized that the recognition extends to the members of the Executive Council and the Legislative Congress of Councillors, commending the strong synergy between the two arms of government that has made the Mayor’s achievements possible.
Adding to the commendation, Hon. Onyeka Nzeakor, National President of the Dunukofia United Brothers Association, remarked that Barr. Ozumba’s leadership has brought transformative change to the local government, fostering peace, unity, and sustainable development. He noted that the award represents not only appreciation from the Association but also the collective voice of the people of Dunukofia who have witnessed the positive impact of the Mayor’s policies.
Hon. Nzeakor urged the Mayor to continue with his visionary leadership, assuring him of the Association’s unwavering support and prayers for continued success.
