Anambra State Commissioner for Housing Hon. Pauly Onyeka says the administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo is doing its best in making sure that the tax payers money are diligently utilized.
Speaking in an interview with reporters after appearing before Anambra State House of Assembly Committee on Public Account on Friday, headed by Hon. Nobel Chukwunonso Igwe, the commissioner revealed that the ministry of housing are currently handling many projects.
According to Hon. Onyeka, “We are currently working on three general hospitals at Ekwulobia, Enugu- Ukwu and Umueri (each at the three senatorial zones) and by Gods grace, they will be ready before this years Christmas.
“It will be referral center because it is a high standard General Hospital when completed.
“In the ministry of housing, we try as much as possible to be deligent in discharging our duty. We look at things holistically, plan and then execute.
“We try as much as possible to manage the tax payers money very diligently so that at the end of the day, ndi Anambra will be happy at the management of their fund.
“We have many projects that is on-going such as the government house project and in no distant time by the grace of God, the project will be ready.
“We are also handling police camp base at Isuofia and will be ready by December.
“The ministry of housing is also re-modeling the Anambra state house of assembly and in the next two months, this complex will have a different look”. The commissioner declared.
