SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced plans to turn SpaceX’s Starbase site in South Texas into an official city.Musk took to social media platform X to announce the development, saying, “SpaceX HQ will now officially be in the city of Starbase, Texas!”A formal request to hold an election to incorporate Starbase has been filed with Cameron County officials.

Elon Musk has announced that SpaceX’s headquarters will officially be located in Starbase, Texas, marking a significant shift for the aerospace company.

This announcement was made via a post on social media platform X, where Musk stated, “SpaceX HQ will now officially be in the city of Starbase, Texas!”

The move to Starbase follows Musk’s earlier decision in July to relocate both SpaceX and his social media platform X from California to Texas, citing a new gender identity law in California as the “last straw.”
