England Training Gear Stolen in Kansas City Ahead of World Cup

Thieves have stolen training equipment belonging to the England national team just days before the squad’s arrival in the city for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The incident occurred at a facility where the Three Lions were scheduled to prepare for their Group C matches. Items taken included cones, mannequins, medical kits and other essential gear.

The Football Association confirmed the theft and said local police have launched an investigation.

“While disappointing, this will not affect our preparations. Replacement equipment is already being sourced,” an FA spokesperson said.6db5fe

England are set to face Morocco, Haiti and Scotland in the group stage of the expanded 48-team tournament. The squad, led by coach Thomas Tuchel, is expected to arrive in the United States later this week.

Local authorities described the theft as opportunistic and are reviewing CCTV footage from the area. No arrests have been made so far.

The incident has drawn attention to security arrangements for teams at the World Cup, which begins on June 13.
