- A cult icon from Liverpool has revealed that he is now an evangelical church pastor.
The former Brazil great was dedicated at a church he built in Maceio, his hometown.The consecration happened on June 30, the previous Sunday.
The 32-year-old and his wife Larissa called the event “memorable and unforgettable” in a shared Instagram picture.
They continued, saying: “A desire burns in our hearts after encountering Christ: that others may feel this love that has reached us.
“Now we have another yearning and responsibility: to be pastors after God’s own heart and who cooperate with the Kingdom.”
The forward was baptized in 2020 at the swimming pool at his old teammate Alisson’s residence.
