The Federal Government has opened the application porta for the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) 2.0, a new 12-month internship programme offering successful candidates a monthly stipend of ₦150,000.
According to the portal announcement, the scheme is designed for recent university and polytechnic graduates across Nigeria and will accept applications from Tuesday, October 7. The announcement included:
“₦150,000 monthly allowance for the duration of the internship.”
The project is part of the government’s Youth Empowerment Agenda, aiming to reduce graduate unemployment and provide practical workplace experience. Officials said the scheme is open to all states of the federation and emphasised equity in selection.
Applicants are required to submit their updated CVs, degree or higher national diploma certificates, and a recent passport-sized photograph. The deadline for submission is October 31, 2025.
This initiative marks a significant commitment to youth employment and skills development by the government, at a time when Nigeria’s graduate joblessness rate remains high.
