FRSC Caution Motorist On Road Safety During Easter Celebration

Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Anambra State Command has sensitized members of the public on road safety measures during the Easter celebration to prevent accidents.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
the sensitization was led by the Anambra State Sector Commander of FRSC, Comdt Joyce Alexander as they moved through Awka and environs, notably Amawbia by expressway through Zik’s Avenue to Eke Awka, Amaenyi, Ezeuzu and Aroma Junctions as well as UNIZIK Temp. Site, as educative flyers were shared to motorists and road users.

Alexander explained that sensitization is a continuous routine of the FRSC, only heightened during festivities like Easter to ensure the safety of road users traveling and moving for different purposes, charging passengers not to jeopardize their safety through cautioning drivers promptly emphasizing also that FRSC personnel are fully deployed for duties.

Some road users who spoke to newsmen emphasized that they are well prepared for the Easter traveling and are safety conscious including doing routine maintenance on their vehicles and having safety equipment like fire extinguisher.
