… Shatta Wale blasts his country music, praises Nigeria
Ghanaian artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., popularly known as Shatta Wale has praised the Nigerian music industry while admonishing his Ghanaian colleagues.
The self-acclaimed King of Dancehall has taken to his Twitter to advise his Ghanaian colleagues to seek “help” rather than “argue with Nigerian fans and promoters”.
Recall that there has often been rivalry between Nigerian music fans and Ghanaian’s on who has the better music and more popularity.
The 38 year old artist added he needs a record label opining that Ghana music is a disgrace and that his countrymen don’t do enough to improve their music compared to their Nigerian counterpart.
