The Ide Gabriel Ezekwo Foundation has donated 1,000 copies of an inspirational book titled In His Days to the Anambra State Post Primary Schools Service Commission (PPSSC) to promote moral values among secondary school students.
Presenting the books at the PPSSC headquarters in Awka, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the foundation, Chief Samuel Ezekwo, represented by the Foundation’s Coordinator, Chief Cosmas Nwafor, said the publication is designed to instill discipline, hard work and positive values in young people.
Chief Nwafor encouraged schools to promote the book through reading sessions, quizzes and debates, noting that such activities would reinforce the culture of hard work and community service championed by Governor Chukwuma Soludo, particularly in addressing the growing menace of Oke Ite practices and fake pastors.
Receiving the donation, the Secretary of the Post Primary Schools Service Commission, Mrs. Bernadine Anago, described the book’s message as timely and relevant to the moral challenges facing society.
She directed Zonal Directors to ensure the books are distributed to school principals, who will oversee their effective use by students to achieve the intended impact.
Mrs. Anago expressed appreciation to Chief Ezekwo for his sustained commitment to education and philanthropy, highlighting his support for Government Technical College (GTC), Umuchu, and the wider educational sector in Anambra State.
