The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Anambra Road Traffic Management Agency (ARTMA), Engineer Emeka-Konti Okonkwo have urged motorists and other members of the public to report any individual impersonating to be an officer of the agency.

Engr. Okonkwo gave the advice in a statement issued to newsmen recently, in which he also disclosed how to identify real officers of the Agency.
According to the MD of the agency, only individuals properly dressed in ARTMA uniforms as shown in the picture in this publication should be identified as officers
Okonkwo also re-emphasized that the ARTMA officers responsibilities are only limited to traffic control/enforcement and pedestrian safety.
“Please be advised that only individuals properly dressed in ARTMA uniforms, as shown in the attached picture, should be identified as our officers.
“The responsibilities of ARTMA officers are traffic control/ enforcement and pedestrian safety only.

“If you encounter anyone impersonating an ARTMA officer or enforcing anything else in the name of ARTMA, please report them immediately to the police or call our helpline on 08144228836 for prompt action,” Engr. Emeka-Konti said in the statement.
