Ibezim Calls For Collective Efforts In Improving Manufacturing Sector

Anambra State Deputy Governor, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, has called for collective and intentional action by the government, industrialists, and academia towards improving Nigeria’s manufacturing sector as the only meaningful way to change the country’s economic status.

Dr. Ibezim made the call during a quarterly roundtable discussion organised by Unizik Business School in collaboration with the Anambra State Ministry of Industry and the Chambers of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture in Anambra State

The Deputy Governor during the event with the theme, “Anambra Triple Helix Matrix: University-Industry-Government Alignment”, encouraged industrialists and universities to partner with Anambra state government, in rebuilding the entrepreneurial sector, explaining that the effort of the government alone is not enough to effect reasonable change in the sector.

Ibezim reaffirmed Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s commitment to sustained and quality service delivery to the people of the state.

He expressed appreciation to the organizers and participants, reiterating that Governor Soludo came into office well prepared with a clear understanding of the state’s developmental needs.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that the Deputy Governor stressed the need for the institutionalization of the roundtable as a regular engagement platform, emphasizing that the Governor remains relentless in delivering quality governance.
