The Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South Council Area, Hon. (Mrs) Amaka Obi (Iyom Idemili) has commended Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, the Executive Governor of Anambra State for making the state a reference point in public service reforms in the country.
Hon. Obi made the commendation recently at the Ojoto Local Government Headquarters while addressing newsmen. She noted that Anambra State has a population of more than 5 million people with 120,000 work force in the civil service.
She stated that the APGA-led Government has maintained a good working environment for civil servants while stressing on the priority the Governor places on the welfare and capacity building of civil and public servants in Anambra State.
Hon. Obi expressed appreciation to the State Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo, the Speaker, Members of State Executive Council, and Members of the State House of Assembly, the Head of Service as well as the Accounting Officers Office MDAs of the State for their support and cooperation with the Commission.
She also commended other categories of stakeholders for working with the State Governor which she said contributed immensely to the modest achievements recorded by the Civil Service Commission so far possible.
Mrs. Obi urged all those that are still sitting on the fence to come back and join the party in her concerted effort to vote APGA candidates in the forthcoming State House of Assembly Election, dated 18th March, 2023.
