The Local Government Chairman of Idemili South Area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi alongside her team, on Tuesday 24th February, 2026, conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction of 1.5km of Seaman road and 1.4 km of Okenwa road at Nnobi community.
During the inspection, Hon. Obi charged the Engineer of the construction company to expedite action on the projects and ensure delivery at full capacity, emphasizing the importance of timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
The Mayor appreciated High Chief Emeka Agbanari, and High Chief Ikechukwu Azugo, for embracing Public Private Community Partnership, stating that Nnobi stakeholders are partnering with government for more infrastructure in the community.
The local government boss noted that the roads will not only enhance development and facilitate seamless access to neighbouring communities, but it will also improve the ease of doing business and contribute to reducing insecurity in the areas.
On his part, Nnobi ward two Councillor, who is the Mayoral candidate for APGA in the upcoming local government election, Hon. John Ilogbenu applauded Seaman and Okenwa for their contributions to the progress of the community.
