The Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi has inspected the ongoing road maintenance and construction of barricades at Afor Oba market, Idemili South local government area, Anambra State.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
the projects attracted from the state government by Hon. Mrs Obi, is inline with zero pothole policy of Governor Chukwuma Soludo and also to ensure safety of market women.
Hon. Mrs Obi, during the inspection appreciated Soludo for his commitment to a livable, safe and healthy Anambra State.
The Mayor assured to always inspect the projects to ensure they are delivered according to specifications.
She appreciated the people of Oba community, especially the youths for their support and encouraged them to always support good policies and initiatives of the local government and that of state government for a better society for all.
ANN gathered that Obi was accompanied by the President General of Oba, Engr. Anthony Uzo Ejiofor, Chief Whip, Idemili South Congress of Councillors, Hon. Ebuka Chibueze and Deputy Majority leader, Hon. Nkiru Onwuakagba, Idemili South Supervisor for works, Hon. Smart Nriama, CSO Of Oba town Union and Oba youths.
