The Transition Committee Chairman of Ihiala LGA, Hon. Anayo Orjiakor has charged the 25 newly sworn-in councilors of the local council to be ambassadors of Governor Chukwuma Soludo administration at the grassroots level.

Hon. Orjiakor gave the charge while inaugurating the councilors representing various wards in the local government as a way to drive the Solution campaign to all the nooks and crannies of the communities in the local government area.
Performing the Inauguration at the Council headquarters at Ihiala, Engineer Orjiakor tasked the newly inaugurated Ward Councilors to take the message of disruptive change to the grassroots in order to improve the living conditions of the rural populace and align with the Governors broad development agenda.
The Mayor thanked Governor Soludo for his broad development agenda in Ihiala, ranging from enhancing security, road infrastructure, borehole projects empowerment among others, urging the Ndi Ihiala to always return home and witness the positive changes, despite the negative narratives often portrayed on social media.
He called on them to give their wards maximum attention with twenty-four hours involvement in what is going on in their communities, saying that the solution team of the local government is targeted at making remarkable changes, describing the set of Councilors inaugurated as assets to the council area and urged them to be diligent, resourceful and humane while dealing with the people and not to see their positions as a way to suppress or victimize other people.
The traditional ruler of Ihiala, Igwe Thomas Obidiegwu and his Ubuluisiuzo counterpart, Igwe John Ozulumba expressed happiness on the positive transformation brought in to Ihiala Local Government Area by Governor Soludo’s administration, while thanking the Local Government Chairman for his effective leadership and inclusive approach.
The Member representing Ihiala Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Paschal Agbodike represented by Mr Val Ejezube, and Chief Whip of the 8th Anambra Assembly Hon. Jude Ngobili represented by Mr. Charles Odimba and Chairman, All Progressives Grand Alliance for Ihiala Local Government Area, Mr Chijioke Okoye, encouraged the new councilors to work diligently.
