The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has launched the online accreditation process for journalists and media organisations wishing to cover the Anambra State governorship election, set for Saturday, November 8, 2025.
The accreditation portal officially opened on Monday, September 1, 2025, and will remain accessible until 12:00 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025. After the deadline, late submissions will not be accepted.
In a statement issued by INEC Secretary Rose Oriaran-Anthony, media representatives were instructed to submit their applications via the official accreditation portal at imap.inecnigeria.org. For further inquiries, the commission provided two contact lines: 07088844564 and 08032861058.
