Israel Eliminates Top ISIS Commander in Gaza in Precision Airstrike

In a significant tactical victory, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have announced the elimination of Muhammad Abd al-Aziz Abu Zubaida, the most senior ISIS figure in Gaza, Palestine.

The strike occurred in the Bureij area and marks a pivotal setback to the terror group’s operations in the region.

According to the IDF, Abu Zubaida oversaw all ISIS activities across Gaza, Judea and Samaria, and the Sinai Peninsula, and was instrumental in coordinating policy, funding, and arms logistics.

His death represents the latest in a series of high-profile targeted killings, including those of prominent Hamas leaders Mohammed Sinwar, Yahya Sinwar, and Ismail Haniyeh.

The strike comes amid intensifying military operations around Gaza City, where Israeli forces have lifted temporary tactical pauses to press forward with their offensive.

This escalation follows the recent recovery of hostage Ilan Weiss’s body and is part of a broader strategy to destabilize militant networks. However, the intensified assault has sparked mounting global concern over civilian suffering, including famine-like conditions in the region.
