Chukwuemeka Agbata, managing director of Anambra Information Communication Technology (ICT) Agency, says Gov. Chukwuma Soludo has made good his promise to transform Anambra into Nigeria’s digital and creative capital.
Mr Agbata, the convener of the Geeks and Founders Alliance for Soludo (GEFAS), stated this in Awka on Saturday.
He said Prof Soludo’s goal is to make Anambra the digital and creative capital of Nigeria and this will be achieved by investing in relevant infrastructure, facilitating digital skills development, boosting innovation, creating jobs, encouraging entrepreneurship, enhancing social development, and driving economic transformation through the growth of the technology and creative economy.”_
According to him, That promise is already in motion. By waiving the Right of Way fees, Mr Governor unlocked greater broadband access, boosted digital capacity, and laid the foundation for a vibrant digital economy. This decisive action shows clear progress toward the manifesto commitment this first tenure.
Mr Agbata said GEFAS, as a group, remained committed to the re-election bid of Soludo and would continue to spread the message to the people to reinforce their belief in the state’s digital future.
