The Lokoja Metropolis went agog on Saturday as Usman Ododo took over the mantle of leadership from Yahaya Bello as Governor of Kogi State. Mr Ododo and Joel Salifu were sworn in as governor and deputy governor by the state’s Chief Judge, Justice Josiah Majebi.
In a video going round the internet, the new governor of Kogi state, Usman Ododo was seen telling people not to listen to him when he talks, rather they should listen to the immideate governor, Yahaya Bello.
In His Word “Obey the former Governor’s Office than mine,If I give you an order, and the former Governor, Yahaya Bello Gives you an order, pls ignore my order and obey the former Governor’s order. If I say we should go this way, and the Former Governor says we should go the other way, you people should obey the former Governor and ignore mine.”
