Kwara North Employment Bureau Committee Meets with National Park Service to Enhance Local Employment

On Monday, December 9, 2024, the Chairman of Kwara North Employment Bureau (KWANEB) Committee, Dr. Ndanusa Mohammed Manzuma, and the Secretary, Hon. Musa Idris Buko, paid a courtesy visit to the Conservator-General of National Park Service, Dr. Ibrahim Musa Goni.

The meeting, facilitated by Barrister Haruna Mohammed, a Chief Park Warden (Legal) and indigene of Kaiama, Kwara State, focused on enhancing local employment through the conservation efforts of the National Park Service.

During the visit, the Conservator-General briefed the committee on the 10 newly approved National Parks in Nigeria, including one in Patigi LGA.
He emphasized the need for collaboration to ensure the timely takeoff of the project in Kwara State.

The committee lauded the Conservator-General’s patriotism and assured that no stone would be left unturned to ensure the project’s successful takeoff.

The Conservator-General directed Barr. Haruna to provide the committee with documents on the National Park Service and the new park to be established.
