Lagos State University (LASU) has cautioned prospective students and the general public against falling victim to fraudulent individuals offering fake admission slots into the institution.
In a statement released on Thursday, the university’s management emphasized that admission into LASU is strictly processed through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the university’s official channels.
The institution urged applicants to disregard any messages, social media posts, or individuals promising admission in exchange for money, stressing that such activities are illegal and punishable by law.
LASU further advised prospective candidates to monitor updates only through the university’s official website and communication outlets to avoid being misled.
