“I gotta say, U.S. soccer has really grown a lot in just the last year and the results recently clinched by the U.S. team really prove that, they’ve become a major force in the World Cup, super competitive, matching their opponents blow for blow in every game.
“We’re steadily closing in on Mexican soccer, giving every team a run for their money, as evidenced by the recent Cup where, well, no Mexican teams made it to the finals, sure, you can argue about a lot of things, but the truth is, all the games were really close, super competitive, anyone can beat anyone.
“It seems to me that’s how it is in the [MLS] too, it’s a league where it’s super competitive, anyone can beat anyone.
“Teams are really strong when playing at home and it’s really tough to win on the road, and well, that’s a bit of what I’ve figured out from my first few games.”
