momentum are been gathered and that the ministry will record more giant strides in terms of project delivery in 2025.

Onyenji while speaking during the budget defense in Awka assured members of Anambra State House of Assembly that the Ministry would fulfil the mandates outlined in the budget, which focuses on developing heritage sites to enhance tourism, noting that it is a major attraction for this government, as leisure promotes longevity.

” We will perform better in 2025. One of the cardinal intentions we intends to achieve in 2025 is the developing of major heritage sites into tourism attractions.

” We have signed a global recognized consulting firm to give us recommendations on some of our tourism sites which includes Agulu lake, Ogbunike cafe and water falls, Anam beach and Awka city park.

” Nine new sites is in view and when the business case is made, we will attract investors that will partner with Anambra State Government to develop those places.

” The Solution fun city, a multi billion naira project is almost ready, Agulu lake has been fenced with about thirty hecters. This is with the vision of Governor Chukwuma Soludo in making Anambra State a prosperous, livable environment.

” Working with investors through the PPCP, we intend to have this heritage sites developed simotenously. This will create more revenue, jobs and recreational places were people will relaxe and enjoy’. Onyenji said in an interview.

The Chairman of the House Committee on Culture and Tourism, Hon. Nigeria Mbachu who approved the capital estimates proposed by Onyenji to ensure optimal service delivery, stated that the 8th Assembly is ready to assist all MDA’s through over sight in tackling all challenges.
