A new Commissioner of Police (CP), Maiyaki Muhammed-Baba, has been deployed to Nasarawa State.
In a statement, the command’s spokesman, DSP Nansel Rahman, said the new CP took over from Mr Adesina Soyemi who was recently elevated to the rank of Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police.
The statement added that the new CP, who hails from Bida, Niger State, joined the force on March 3, 1990.
The command, therefore, appealed for the support and cooperation of all stakeholders for his success in the state.
