Naval Outpost Onitsha has distributed free educational materials to the pupils of Central Primary School, Ochuche, in Ogbaru Council Area of Anambra State.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
the initiative is part of non-kinetic approach of Operation Delta Sanity II, aimed at fostering strong civil-military relationship and improving security operations in the South-East Region.
The distributed materials included whiteboards, exercise books, mass sets, markers, pens, pencils, crayons, rulers, and other essential teaching and learning aids.
While handing over the items, the Commanding Officer, Naval Outpost Onitsha, Navy Captain Musa Jarma, noted that security of lives and property has significantly improved in the area, with peace and stability restored like never before.
The Headmistress of the school, Mrs. Veronica Daike, and President General Ochuche Community, Mr. Eric Obaze, thanked the Nigerian Navy for coming to their aid at the time the school was in great need of academic materials.
