The President and Chairman Governing Council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Dr Ike Neliaku; his Vice President Prof Emmanuel Dandaura and other special guest have arrived Anambra State from Abuja for the 2nd Series of His Royal Majesty, Obi Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe Annual Lecture.
The event, which will hold on Tuesday 8th October at the ETF Building of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu (COOU), Igbariam, is part of activities lined up the Monarch’s 23rd Ofala festival.
A renown Professor of Political Economy and fellow of NIPR, Prof. Pat Utomi is the Guest Speaker and will speak on the theme: “Achieving Peace and Reconciliation in Nigeria: The Public Relations Approach”.
While Sen. High Chief Dr. Ben Ndi Obi (Ojeligbo na Awka), will chair the occasion, other top dignitaries will be there to witness the event.
A statement jointly signed by Professor Angela Nwammuo and Nnamdi Onuzulike, Chairman and Public Relations Executive NIPR Anambra State Chapter respectively, urged public relations practitioners and the general publics to grace the occasion.
Achebe, the Obi of Onitsha and Chairman of the Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council, is also a fellow NIPR and will hold his 23rd Ofala festival on October 18 and 19, 2024 in Onitsha with the theme ‘Courage, Perseverance and Self-Reliance’.###
