NGO Gifts Houses To Nine Indigent Widows In Anambra

Afamation Movement, a non-governmental organization, founded by Mr. Afamefuna Ezenwafor with the mission to leave the society better than they met it, have gifted nine homeless widows from the villages that make up Ekwuluobia in Aguata Local Government Area, houses (bungalo each.

Speaking while handing over the buildings to the beneficiaries, the Founder of Afamation Movement, Mr Ezenwafor said the gesture is a way to demonstrate practical Christianity and to give hope to the hopeless.

Ezenwafor further explained that they partnered Ositadinma Care Foundation in the project and revealed that the beneficiaries of the second phase will be selected from within and outside Ekwuluobia as he sought for more partners to help them reach the goal.

Angel Network News (ANN) gathered that the movement since foundation has been in the business of rendering help to the indigent in the society through different intervention schemes such as scholarships, provision of shelter for the homeless and numerous others.

According to the movement, their target is to provide 50 housing units for 50 homeless widows in the nearest possible time.

Some guests at the event including the Commissioner for Chieftancy and Town Unions, Mr Tony-Collins Nwabunwanne and his Women Affairs Counterpart, Mrs Ify Obinabo commended Afamation Movement for his philanthropy and called on more Well-to-do individuals to emulate Mr Ezenwafor

A stakeholder of the movement, Barrister Donald Amamgbo and a cleric, Reverend Canon Ken Mmaduka said that anyone who wants to enjoy God’s blessings must learn to invest in others even as they joined others to commend Mr Ezenwafor and the Afamation movement for the initiative.

Some of the beneficiaries, Messrs Ebele Ezeokeke, Chikodili Ezeokonkwo and Ijeoma Onwumelu in tears of joy told ABS that God used Mr Ezenwafor to meet them at the point of their needs at a time all hope seemed to have been lost.
