Nigeria should hijack Azeez from Spain, England – Source

A source close to Miguel Azeez has revealed to NPFL Updates that if the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will be the first to reach out to the Arsenal player, they may end up securing his services.

Azeez started his career with Arsenal’s youth academy at the age of 5. On 24 September 2019, Azeez was given a professional contract by Arsenal. He made his first team debut on 10 December 2020, replacing Joe Willock in the 83rd minute of a 4–2 UEFA Europa League win away to Irish side Dundalk at the Aviva Stadium.

Azeez is eligible to represent Nigeria through his father, Spain through his mother and England, as his place of birth; but he’s still open for talks.

The youngster, has represented England at the youth level, and may not have his allegiance to the Three Lions is Nigeria makes a more lucrative move.
