… Governor Soludo, other dignitaries pays homage
It was a memorable day full of joy, laughter, dance and Thanksgiving as the royal Icon and the longest serving traditional ruler in Nigeria today, His Royal Highness,Igwe Dr. K.O. N Orizu 111, Igwe of Nnewi in Anambra state celebrated his 59 years on the throne and his 97th birthday in style.
The event commenced with a church service in his palace amidst army of clergymen, traditional rulers, members of Igwe Nnewi Royal Cabinet, sons and daughters of Nnewi and friends of the ancestral town.
Earlier in his sermon, Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, Anglican Communion, Rt. Rev. Ndubuisi Chukwuka Obi admonished people to emulate the lifestyle of Igwe Dr. K. O. N Orizu 111, which has epitomize him as gentleman with honour and respect in Nigeria.
“Dr. K. O. N Orizu 111, is a special gift to mankind, he is not only coming to church but very close to God and he demonstrates God’s Commandments. Today is the beginning of his journey to the celebration of his 100 years on mother earth with good health, Bishop Obi stated.
The event had governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo with other dignitaries in attendance
