Nnewi North Local Government Area under the leadership of Engr Chris Obiorah has moved to tackle roads potholes.
ANN recall that Anambra Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo sometime last month promised to reconstruct Owerri road, spanning from Nnewi round to Okija junction through Ozubulu.
Beginning from roundabout to Owerri road, all the potholes are getting serious attention. The exercise is expected to spread across all the affected roads in Nnewi North Local Government Area. ANN gathered.
Speaking on the essence, Engr Obiorah noted that fixing the roads to be motorable is apt considering the importance of good roads to commercial activities.
He noted that Governor Soludo has awarded three roads in Nnewi and work are simultaneously ongoing on two of the roads, stating that the constructions are ongoing, other roads will not be left unattended to.
Obiorah promised to continue ensuring a better environment for the residents of Nnewi in support of what Governor Soludo is doing for the people of Nnewi.
Engr Chris Obiorah says he will ensure seamless movement of motorists within Nnewi while Governor Soludo takes on other road projects.
