The Association of Non-Indigenes in Anambra State has expressed profound gratitude to Governor Chukwuma Soludo
for his administration inclusive policies and remarkable achievements.
Speaking to journalists in Awka, the President of Non – Indigenes Prince Chigozie Nweke stated that Governor Soludo has demonstrated exceptional leadership by appointing non-indigenes to key positions in his government.
These include roles such as Permanent Secretary, National Publicity Secretary of APGA, Managing Director of Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) and Chief Press Secretary of Government House, Awka.
According to Nweke, Soludo’s government has also ensured fair representation in employment opportunities, benefiting both indigenes and non-indigenes alike.
The president explained that a major highlight of his administration was the recruitment of over 7,000 teachers, a process that was merit-based and inclusive of non-indigenes. Moreso, the recent employment drive at Ocha Brigade further reflects his commitment to equity and fairness. His scholarship initiative for Senior Secondary 3 (SS3) students has also brought relief to many families, giving non-indigenous students access to quality education.
Nweke equally acknowledged Governor Soludo dedication to good governance, describing him as a leader with an unmatched vision for development and unity.
“As we celebrate his three years in office, we say a big thank you to Governor Soludo Nwamgbafor for fostering inclusivity, fairness and excellence in governance. Bravo to a great leader with a high taste for transformational leadership!” the president stated.
