NSCDC Embarks On Assessment Of Security Measures Around JAMB Centers In Anambra

Comdt. Maku Olatunde has inspected and monitored security deployments at various JAMB Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres in Awka.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
the State Commandant visited three CBT centres within Awka Metropolis, specifically, St. Patrick’s College ICT Center, JAMB ICT Center and St John of God Awka ICT Center.

NSCDC operatives deployed to the centers were seen at their duty post conducting security screenings alongside JAMB officials biometric verification procedures for candidates.

Addressing personnel at the centers, the NSCDC State helmsman urged them to ensure strict access control measures to prevent unauthorized individuals from entering examination premises.

He commended officers and men for their professionalism and discipline, emphasising the importance of maintaining a secure environment for candidates.

The State Commandant in an operational order released for the exams directed Area Commanders and Divisional Officers to comply with operational directives and maintain strict supervision throughout the UTME exercise reiterting zero tolerance for laxity.
