Anambra State House of Assembly Speaker Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze at plenary on Tuesday announced the appointment of Mr. Okechukwu .P. Nwobi as the acting clerk.
Rt. Hon. Udeze made the announcement after
Majority Leader, the member representing Ekwusigo constituency Hon. Ikenna Ofodeme moved the motion for the appointment of Mr. Okechukwu Nwobi as the acting clerk with effect from Tuesday 15 August 2023.
The motion was seconded by the Minority Leader Rt. Hon. Johnbosco Akaegbobi, the member Nnewi South one constituency after which the lawmakers through a voice vote comfirmed Nwobi’s appointment.
Mr. Okechukwu Nwobi replaced Mrs. Esther Anaetoh the former acting clerk who was transferred recently
