The Chairman of Idemili South local government area, Hon. Mrs. Amaka Obi has inspected crops in Idemili South healthy living garden.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that the Idemili South Mayor while speaking during the inspection said the project is
inline with Anambra State First Lady, Dr. Mrs Nonye Soludo’s initiative to equip women with essential skills in sustainable organic farming practices, empowering them to contribute significantly to food security while providing avenues for economic empowerment for their various families
“I was inspired by the variety of crops under cultivation. This garden symbolizes the potential of every home in the council area to contribute to the well-being of our families through sustainable agriculture.
“I am pleased to advocate for the cultivation of home gardens across Idemili South local government area.
“This initiative, “Healthy Living Garden With Nonye Soludo” is not only a step towards achieving food security but also a way to empower women by encouraging them to actively participate in agricultural activities within their households.
