Operation Clean Healthy Anambra (OCHA Brigade), Onitsha Zone has scheduled 31st of December 2023 for commencement of training of more operatives for multiple tasks that lay ahead in the coming year.
This was disclosed during the end of year get-together of Onitsha Zone of OCHA Brigade led by its Coordinator, Honourable Linus Ufoh.
According to Ufoh, ”more successes were recorded by the group this passing year and needed to be sustained, especially in the areas of road decongestion, clearing of water drainage at both markets and other business premises all aimed at implementation of State Government programmes and policies.”
Onitsha Coordinator of the group further hinted that more personnel needed to be trained as it has become necessary due to numerous challenges expected to be tackled in the coming year.
Hon. Ufoh whose group has consistently earned accolades in the discharge of their functions said residents have started appreciating the group due to its thoroughness and sense of responsibility.
He, however, commended the Managing Director of OCHA Brigade, Comrade Celestine Anere for his support and encouragement to the group.
The group’s Zonal Coordinator showered encomiums on the management and operatives of OCHA Brigade which he noted led to the successes recorded in the passing year and wished them well in the coming year.
Angel Network News gathered that after
the training, operatives are expected to be mobilised to some public places such as Schools, markets, hospitals and others for enforcement according to the State Government environmental laws.
