The Nigerian Army has released the official portrait of the 23rd Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General TA Lagbaja.
ANN reports that the portrait was released on the Nigerian Army’s official website and social media pages on Saturday.
In the portrait, Lagbaja is seen wearing his full military uniform, with his medals prominently displayed.
Lagbaja was appointed COAS in June following a sweeping change of the nation’s heads of security Services, which affected the erstwhile Service Chiefs and the Inspector General of Police.
He promised to improve on the legacies of his predecessors of a proficient and professional Nigeria Army, said hardwork would be rewarded under his watch
