Old Note: Senate now spokespersons for the poor overnight – Singer Rudeboy

One of the PSquare duo, Paul “Rudeboy” Okoye, has taken to his social handle to question the motive behind the sudden agitation by the Nigerian Senate to extend the date for submission of old naira notes beyond January 31st, 2023.

The Singer recalled that “during the pandemic, the senate were nowhere to be found.

“Same government were hiding food for their citizens, they were silent and dumb because it doesn’t affect them.

“Now with the CBN naira redesign, they became spokesmen for the poor cos it affects them,” (sic) he said.

The “Reason With Me” crooner was of the opinion that the sudden voice of the Senate with the “poor” is because the situation and pressure “affects them”.

He finally urged Nigerians to “wise up” because if there wasn’t an upcoming election, “they won’t say pim!!” (sic).
