The Anambra State Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Sir Ifeatu Obiokoye has called its members to show greater commitment towards strengthening the collective unity, discipline and work ethics of the party.
The present Anambra APGA SWC under Chief Obi-Okoye was elected on the 24th day of May 2023, but its first meeting held on the 5th day of June 2023, following the official handover of office. Angel Network News (ANN) reports.
Chief Obi-Okoye in his address to APGA faithful, on the occasion of the one year in office anniversary on Wednesday, noted that party faithful in the state, must remain at the vanguard of the Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s transformative initiatives, so as to stimulate public confidence in the state governance process.
In his words; “Moving forward, all party faithful must imbibe the dynamics of Positive Disruptive Engagement of the Solution Administration, as the sine-qua non for rapid development and transformation of Anambra State.”
Speaking on the journey so far, Obi-Okoye said the key insights of the party’s rebranding process on which his administration built critical foundational values, include “Rebranding the mindset of party faithful, Recreating a sense of equality amongst party faithful, whether old or new members, Restructuring our operational strategy, Restructuring our operational structures at the grass-root through the establishment of Executive Committees at every Kindred (Umunna).”
Expressing confidence in the possibilities which the successful launching of the Solution Kindred Initiative (SKI) holds for the party, the Anambra APGA boss said the initiative touches the heart-beat of the current State Working Committee (SWC) and its desire to establish APGA structures in over twelve thousand kindred’s (Umunna) in Anambra State.
